“He always looks at the sky,” one of them

said. “It seems he never looks down

anymore.”

Another said, “He got some thick rubber tennies

for his feet to use for landing gear. He really

thinks he is going to fly someday!”

Orville refused to let go of his dream to

fly. He bought books about flying and studied

them. He wanted to be ready to fly.

As he was doing a practice run for his first

take-off, he heard from deep inside him a

still, small Voice that said, “Orville, climb up

that tree and spin a bag around yourself.”
